Branding: 1 Very Simple Method

August 13th, 2009 by Dotty

Spread Your Logo/Brand Across the Internet – For Free!

There is a very easy way to get your logo/brand recognized in your niche, and the method takes about 5 min and zero dollars.  Want to know what it is?

gravatar branding made simpleGravatars! – Globally recognized avatars.  Simply go to the Gravatar.com website and register your email and upload a photo.  Most blogs in use today will recognize the Gravatar when commenting.  This is how your image/logo/brand can show every time you make a comment on other peoples blogs.  It is important to use the same image that you have used on your website, blog, and social media sites.  People will start to connect you with your brand as it gets spread across all the sites that you are actively involved in commenting and adding value.

Very simple – will you actually go and get yours set up?

Thanks for the Hot Tip, Dotty. I shared this with the women in my local women in business networking group. They don’t all use the internet, but they love getting started when it’s fun and easy. This kind of information shared in quick “snippets” is a great learning tool.

    Hi Dotty
    Great suggestion!

My Gravitar is woven into all my materials and based on your suggestion I’m bringing it in to my Facebook, gmail, etc.

Ummmm, now I need to check with the stock company I bought it from and make sure I’m not violating any of their rules. I may need to ante up to purchase the image beyond what I already did but that may be good insurance anyway.

It is always best to avoid Copyright issues. BTW where is your Gravatar?
